Mrs. Malage graduated with a Special degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Colombo in 2007 and has been actively involved in teaching as a talented teacher since then. Personalized teaching techniques used in classroom earned her reputation as a dedicated teacher with keen sensitivity to her students’ needs. Her career highlights include one of the students of Ethos International College becoming Top in Sri Lanka in English language at Cambridge O Level 2023 Examination and consecutive world prize winners she produced in English Literature in Edexcel Ordinary examination during her term at Gateway College and continuous record of 95% of A- A* grades in English Language and Literature.

Ethos International College and Ethos Academy were co-founded by her with the vision to provide high quality education in British curriculum to both School candidates and Private candidates from National curriculum. These courses that are meticulously designed and laid out by her guidance have been producing high achievers since 2018 in addition to 100% pass rate in each exam series. Mrs. Malage is a passionate teacher who keeps the learning needs of her students at the forefront and implements necessary interventions with efficiency and care.

Mrs. Chathuri Malage envisioned providing opportunities for students to obtain degree pathways at foreign universities with fast-track courses that are personally designed for individual student requirements. Consequently, she co-founded Insight Education in 2018 after bidding farewell to her illustrious career. Her belief that each student deserves an opportunity to pave their way towards future success gave her the resolve to accommodate students from a diverse background and unite them in one purpose.

Principal's Message

It is my belief that students should be given the opportunity to make choices regarding their educational pathways at a very early stage in their lives, hence Ethos International College accommodates students with a unique vision and confidence to make sound decisions to fashion their future even as early as ordinary level.

In my view, Education should birth a future generation with an ethos: they should be equipped with knowledge and skills, yet not at the cost of values and morals. Therefore, character building is an essential component of the academic layout of a school.

To me, inclusivity is crucially important to help students feel valued and heard, hence every child should be encouraged to be a high achiever in a diverse range of areas including academic. A college should be a place that birth individuals with high self-worth.
